HSRT- AD Exam Registration

    Applicants for admission to Northwest Technical College’s Traditional RN, Practical Nursing and Cardiac Sonography must take the HSRT-AD exam and pass with a 70 or higher. 

    The HSRT-AD measures critical thinking and quantitative reasoning skills necessary to meet study requirements and achieve success in a health science degree program.


    Before You Register

    Please review the following before completing registration:

    ✔ Exam fee: $50, paid at check-in for exam
    ✔Cancellation policy: 48-hour notice required via email to proctor@ntcmn.edu
    ✔No-shows or late cancellations may result in additional fees or testing restrictions, see full HSRT policy
    ✔The exam must be completed before your program’s application deadline

    • Open for Fall 2026 Practical Nursing and Fall 2026 Cardiac Sonography
    • Closed for Fall 2026 Traditional RN

    HSRT testing for Fall 2027 Traditional RN applicants will open May 18, 2026.
