Thank you for your interest in NTC's Cardiac Sonography Program. The application window for a Fall 2026 start closed on June 15, 2026.

The application for a Fall 2027 start in Cardiac Sonography will open on November 1, 2026 and close on February 1, 2027 with March 1, 2027 notifications of accept/waitlist/deny. To be eligible to apply, you must have completed the following prerequisites:

1. Be an accepted NTC Student
2. Meet the CNA Requirement (CNA within 5 years, HLTH 1110 course, or CNA Waiver approved by NTC Nursing)
3. Have completed (or be enrolled in) HLTH 1106 Medical Terminology (2 credits) and BIOL 2260 Anatomy & Physiology I (4 credits)
4. Earn a score of 70 or higher on the HSRT-AD Exam taken in-person at NTC

Application to the program is competitive, and ranking is determined through GPA of the two prerequisite courses and HSRT-AD score.
